KARKHOFF, LOIS ANN
Age 87 of Mpls, peacefully passed away at her home on February 24, 2015. Lois was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Mpls to Joseph and Mabel Johnson on September 2, 1927. She met her future husband, Howard while working at Sears Roebuck where she was employed for forty-three years. They were united in marriage on September 9, 1950 in Lake Mills, Iowa. They made their home in South Mpls for 64 years. Lois enjoyed the outdoors, playing golf with the same group of women for thirty years, traveling with Howard to many parts of the world, playing cards with family and friends and truly enjoying all that life has to offer. Her candid opinions and sense of humor were of tremendous joy to all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband and partner, Howard along with many nieces and nephews. Family and friends to gather Saturday, April 11, 10:30-11:00 AM with Service at 11:00 AM at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice in her honor.
