Matthew Anderson

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Matthew is survived by his wife of 17 years, Yvonne; mother, Jean (stepfather John) Neumeier; stepmother, Ellen Anderson; siblings, Stephanie (Chris) Catania, Jennifer (Terry) Bryce, Heather (Andrew) Arends; 8 nieces and nephews; many friends and family members. He was preceded in death by father, Orville Anderson; grandparents, Frank and Emma Sneva.
A former Marine and graduate of the University of Minnesota, he was, at his core, entrepreneurial and independent. He was passionate personally and professionally about preserving nature and reducing environmental impact. Matthew's generous heart will be forever remembered by his family, friends, and beloved pets. Matthew lived with a brain tumor for ten years, and his body succumbed to it on February 4, 2016.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 13 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Animal Humane Society of Golden Valley or a charity of the donor's choice.
