Alfred Port, Sr.

Alfred Elton Port Sr. (73) of Coon Rapids Minnesota passed away on June 24th 2020.
Alfred was preceded in death by his Father Carl Ernest Port, Sr. and Mother Doris Mae Port. Also Brothers Carl and Jeff Port. (surviving wife, Sandy Port.) and Sister Doris Madelyn Port.
Alfred was also preceded in death by his first wife Linda. (Surviving daughter) Anna May and her three children and one great-grandchild.
Second wife Linda Lee. (Surviving children) Daughter, Tara and her four children and three great-grandchildren. Twins, Son and Daughter, Alfred Jr. and Doris Mae. Children two and one great-grandchild.
Alfred is survived by his Brother Elton Carl Port and his wife Karen Port. Alfred is also survived by his wife Janice Port and Step-children, Joe Rodriguez, Cameron Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, Dale Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez and Faith Macao. Including, 14 step grandchildren and 14 step great-grandchildren as well as many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Our Father was a hard-working Man and a very successful Auto Mechanic. His brothers and he owned their auto repair shop in St. Paul, MN where they provided all maintenance and repairs for City Wide Taxi Cab Co. of St. Paul, MN for many years.
Alfred enjoyed many weekends escaping North to the family cabin on Lake Sissabagamah where he would go fishing and caught many large fish including Bass and Northern Pike right off the dock. He also enjoyed sports and was of course a huge Vikings fan. He also loved gardening and riding his motorcycle. Alfred loved God, his family and enjoyed a full and happy life. He had a playful and sometimes feisty sense of humor that never left him without a comeback-line whenever the moment or conversation would allow. He will be forever missed by so many.
The family has chosen to have an immediate burial and a private ceremony where The family will gather at the cemetery for a short prayer service. The date and time to be decided at a later time.
