Dominique Hawkins

Dominique Niesha Hawkins was born on March 24, 1997, at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL. She was the first born to Monique Deamon and second child born to Sheldon Hawkins. She attended Cityview Elementary and Rosemount High School, where she graduated in 2015.

Dominique began working for Cookie Cart in Minneapolis at the young age of 14. Shortly after, she became a lifeguard at Valley Fair. She went on to work as a cashier at Target and a Customer Service Manager at Cub Foods. Dominique eventually obtained her most accomplished position yet, as a House Supervisor with Unlimited Possibilities - where she worked with adults with disabilities. Dominique had many special relationships with the individuals that she cared for, and she was well known and loved by the employees and residents.

Dominique is survived by Monique Deamon, Sheldon Hawkins, Taaliya Shabazz, Trinity Agnew, Andrew Hawkins, Tierra Hawkins, Da’laysia Agnew, and bonus sister, Ginseng Hughs.

She is preceded in death by Clara Davis and Annette Hawkins; and Ernestine and Gloria Deamon.

Funeral Services for Dominique will be held at 11:00am, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Bradshaw (1078 Rice St.). She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. Reception to follow at Dayton’s Bluff Community Center (800 Conway St.).
