Passed away peacefully with family in his home on July 24, 2014, age 82. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Dorothy; brothers, Gary and Bill; daughter, Shelley; son, Danny; grandson, Johnny. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Jeanne (Regnier); children, Terri, Annette, Tom, and Denise; grandchildren, Joseph, Mark and Gina Schneider, Michael Anderson, Cailley Martel, Logan and Tia Klaers; great-grandson, Brayden Anderson; sister, Margaret Swenson; many wonderful relatives and friends. Don was a proud Marine, having served during the Korean War. He was a St. Paul firefighter for 35 years, 30 of which he was Captain on the Rescue Squad. Don's sense of humor and stories will be missed by all. Service Wednesday, July 30, 3:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Hwy 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. Visitation 2 hours prior. Burial at St. John the Baptist, Hugo. Memorials preferred to Smile Train.
