Age 64 of White Bear Lake passed away suddenly surrounded by his family on January 2, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Billie Olsen. Loved by his wife of 28 years, Lael; sister, Lisa; cousins, Scott and Todd Beatty; and many other beloved family and friends. Gary retired from 3M in Information Technology. He enjoyed computers, photography, traveling, genealogy, art, theater and his motorhome. Gary loved his family, friends and pets. His favorite saying was "Carpe diem" - seize the day! Gary loved life! In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
