Nicholas Anthony Henton

Age 43, of Stillwater, passed away unexpectedly November 2, 2021

He was a tender-hearted, talented and compassionate man who loved his wife, Teresa; daughters, Ruby, Charly, Halley and Lucy; his parents, Nick and Deb Henton; his brother, Tony (Gina) Henton; half-sisters, Robin (Dave) Dahlberg, Heidi Henton; and his cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Nicholas was a real estate agent by trade, a woodworker artisan by heart. He loved working side by side with his dad in "the shop". Nick was the ultimate father to his two sets of little twin girls. He was always eager and excited to participate in life experiences and make memories to be cherished forever with the kids and Teresa. They did it all together: from zoos, museums, water parks, playgrounds, festivals, fairs, arboretums, holiday lights and festivities, to fireworks, waterfall hikes, road trips and deer spotting drives. Boating down the St. Croix River was one of his favorite places to spend a sunny afternoon. He loved family cabin time and the unforgettable fun fishing trips while teaching the girls how to fish. Nick supported his kids passions and often visited them at dance class. He enjoyed participating in nightly dance parties with them, too! Dance music was Nick’s favorite genre. Hunting and fishing with his brother, dad and nephew elicited laughter and stories that will not be forgotten. Playing cards with his friends and the escapades they became involved in while gambling in Vegas are now legendary stories among his closest comrades. He was one of the hardest workers. Nick enjoyed doing all that he could for everyone from newly met strangers, to his clients, to his friends & family. Nicholas was well loved by many and a friend to all. He was the one you could always count on to be there.

We all loved him beyond measure and will miss him every day for the rest of our lives

A celebration of Nick’s life will be Friday, November 12, 2021, 4:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
