Born in Pierceton, Indiana on May 2, 1913 the daughter of Albert & Edith (Menzie) Leifer. She passed away on August 11, 2014. She was formerly of Traverse City, Michigan and Orland Park, Illinois.
She graduated from Pierceton High School and nursing school in Chicago, Illinois. She enjoyed traveling, quilting, gardening and her parakeets. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis. She is survived by her children, Janis Uthe, Connie Courtade and Louis Meredith; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in Pierceton, Indiana.
