Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 13, 2015, a day after his 67th birthday. Preceded in death by his parents, and godparents, Carl and Florence Swenson, who raised him. Survived by wife, Linda; sons, Andrew (Melissa) and Benjamin (Sheila); grandsons, Caleb and Samuel; brother, Ronald (Terri); sisters, Sandy (Anthony) Fisher and Peggy Nelson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at the cabin especially after retiring from 3M after 33 years of service. Funeral service Saturday, 4:00 P.M. at ST. PETER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 880 Neal Avenue South, Afton. Visitation 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lower St. Croix Valley Fire Department.
