Bortz, Albert “Al” 

Age 83, of White Bear Township, passed away on November 29, 2024.

Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota 1941. Loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. 

Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Jeanne; daughters, Brenda DeMars, Kari Suchy, Kelly Bortz, and Paula Zamarripa; sister, Susan (Tom) Bortz-Johnson; grandchildren Amber, Derek, Justin, Josh, Jordan, Kali, Anna, Alex; and nine great-grandchildren. Al will be missed by many friends and family. Preceded in death by parents, Wilbur Bortz and Genevieve Bortz; sister, June (Pat) Rush, and brother, Bill (Aggie) Bortz. Al retired from the City of Saint Paul animal control services and was in the Saint Paul police reserves for 20+ years. Celebration of Life Saturday, December 14, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear. Visitation 9:30-11:00 A.M. Catered lunch follows service.
