Alden Nelson

Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2018. Preceded in death by his first wife, LaVon and second wife, Marian; son, David; siblings, Lyle, Laurence, Beverly, Arlene and Bernice; and parents. Survived by son, Dean (Terry); grandchildren, Brendin (Janelle) Nelson and Tabitha (Richard) Ashton; great-grandchildren, Lillian Ashton and Kennedy Nelson; sister, Donnis (Gene) Benson; and many nieces, nephews and other family members. Alden grew up on a farm in Grantsburg, Wisconsin and was a carpenter and craftsman. He was a veteran stationed in Alaska during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and loved to travel. Funeral Service, 11AM, Monday, November 26, 2018 at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater with a Visitation beginning at 9AM. Interment St. Michaels Cemetery, Bayport.
