Alexandra Nicole Wolfe, 33, walked home with God on Monday, June 27, 2022. Ali will be remembered for her boisterous laugh, love of puns, her passion to make the world a better place, and her deep faith. Ali lived by Micah 6:8 "And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
She is preceded in death by her mother, Dixie W. Wolfe, and survived by her sisters, Kate Wolfe (Shaun Egan) and Lucy Wolfe; her father and stepmother, Ted Wolfe and Lisa Fagan; many extended family members; and, friends who are as close as family (especially the Mother Hens and Brooke Jensen).
Ali graduated in 2007 as valedictorian of her White Bear Lake High School class where she developed strong friendships through team sports (including Junior Olympic Volleyball). Her love of travel and science led her to Hope College in Holland, Michigan and the School of International Training (SIT) program where she learned about traditional medicine and healthcare practices while in northern India. She returned to Minnesota to graduate from Augsburg University with a degree in chemistry and religious studies.
Ali’s love of travel was nurtured from a young age. She toured Europe with her church choir and loved her family’s annual trips to visit extended family in Vermont and New Jersey, where they would share stories and laughter.
Ali was passionate about social justice, specifically racial equity and disability rights. She was an advocate, a poet, and an empathetic being. Her journey was not always easy, but she lived from a place of love for the world and all who live within it. She especially adored dogs and children.
The family is comforted knowing she is now with her mother and her many grandparents.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, August 4 at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear. A Celebration of Life will be 11am Friday, August 5 at SAINT ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi.
