Alice D. Linnerooth went home to Jesus to be reunited with her beloved husband, Paul, on February 20, 2025, having enjoyed 96 years.
She is preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Kay (Mike) Stevens, Fred (Loretta) Krantz, Mary (George) Smith, Peggy (Joseph) Biniek, Ann Krantz, Josephine (Jerry) Dolan. She is survived by her children, Karin (Craig) Johnson, Paul J (Doris) Linnerooth, and Andrea (Marlin) Becker; her grandchildren, Kristofer (Carol) Johnson, Kyra (Tyler) Vandal, Erik Ky Johnson, Matthew Becker, Paul Alexander (Katherine) Linnerooth, Amilynn Becker, and Benjamin Linnerooth; her great-grandchildren, Grace, Sage, Axel, Lilyan and Louisa.
Alice grew up in St. Paul, MN where her father, Dr Fred (Katherine) Krantz, was a professor of Horticulture at the U of MN with a specialty in potato breeding. Alice graduated cum laude from the U of MN in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics and Business. She married Paul a year later and they were together for over 72 years until he went home before her last August.
Her celebration of life will be at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi on March 8, 2025, at 11 am with visitation 1 hour before and lunch to follow. Memorials to St. Andrews or Oxboro Evangelical Free Church are preferred in lieu of flowers
