Passed away on March 25, 2024. Survived by wife, Polly; children, Todd (Julie) Zabel, Richard (Angela Kresbach) Zabel, Robert (Lisa) Zabel, Jennifer (Dean) Johnson, Shane (Shanna) Batchelor; grandchildren, Amanda (Justin), Megan (Dillon), Brenna (Mike), Taylor (Scott), Mackenzie (Chad), Daulton (Megan), Jess (Cory), Jake, Katie, Aiden, Nick; great-grandchildren, Bahia, Easton, Clara, Jax, Thea, Zoe, Stella, Joey, Maverick, Mila, Daulton, Dahlia, and three on the way; sister, Donna (Terry) Russell; sister-in-law, Nancy Zabel; nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Delores; brother, Gary Zabel; sister, Geraldine (William) Holst.

Allan was a true blue Ford fan, and loved all things automotive, including NASCAR and Back to the 50s. His tenacity was evident in the way he persevered through many health challenges, and he had a humorous streak. However, the thing his family will remember the most was his kindness.

Memorial service will be at 1:00pm Saturday, April 20 at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, with visitation beginning at 11:00. Memorials preferred to Can Do Canines.
