Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother
Alma passed away peacefully on November 23, 2022 in Lake Elmo, MN. She was born to Robert and Margaret Asp in Little Falls, WI and married Gordon Phelps in 1946. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Robert Asp and Mary Wallace. She will be deeply missed by those who survive her: children, Eileen(Richard) Glanzer, Virgil, Gaylon, Eldon, Robert (Noreen); grandchildren,Melodee (Tyler) Grant, Travis (Trisha) Glanzer, Jarva (Kris) Clark, Jarvis (Jane)Glanzer, Grant, Tiasha, Heather (Jenna), Rachel (Travis) Pickle, Norah; great-grandchildren, Jacob (Brittany), Alex (Izzi), Tori, Ty, Tate, Ethan, Kaleb, Sawyer,Charlotte, Sadie, Sullivan, Anessa, Anna, Amelia, Gracie, Sarah; great-great-grandchildren, William and Annabelle. Though Alma worked for a time in the Goodridge School cafeteria and at Arctic Cat, she also enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, vegetable and flower gardening, sewing and crafting. She was a Sunday school teacher and beloved member of the Watermark Church. She had a sparkle in her eye and treasured her relationships with all people. Most of all, she was devoted to her family.
