Al was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. Preceded in death by parents, Willie and Anna (Prestegaard); brother, Elton. Survived by wife, Charlotte, of 58 years; sons, Mark and Kirk (Monica); grandchildren, Kayla and Matthew Schneider; sister, Melva (Gene) Ward; sister-in-laws, Virginia Schneider, Janice Caruth, Pauline Kirchoff, Lois Webber; nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Monday, 1 P.M. at GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, MN 55116.
