Amelia Lou Moreno
My sweet, beautiful, and beloved soul lost her battle with Peritoneal Mesothelioma Cancer on Saturday-November 25,2023. Amelia was an extraordinary person with a heart of gold. She was always helping people in need and thought of everyone before herself. She will be deeply missed.
Amelia is survived by her parents, Guadalupe and Idalia Moreno; husband Dan McClellan; son Daniel McClellan; stepdaughter Mallory Matschina; Sisters, Delia (Sam) Barnes, Celia (Kevin) Moreno-Courtney; nieces, Alejandra "Ali" and Adriana "Drea" Barnes, Kayla, Catlyn, and Isabella Courtney; nephew Tyler "Pito" Courtney; Grandmother Maunela Perez; Sister-in-law Jani (Jeff) and her children Brooklyn, Flint and Gavin Kichler; and many many Tio's and Tia's,cousins, friends and her ECC family where she worked.
She was preceded in death by Tio Robert, Tio Juan, and Michelangelo Perez; Juan de Cuca; Tio Albino, Chinta and Gloria Moreno; Tia Nela Llanas, Tia Elena Arrieta, Tia Mannie Romero; and grandparents, Seferino Perez, Francisco and Silvestra Moreno.
A special thank you to her nurses Ann, Kelly, MD Anderson, and the UofM Cancer Clinics, their doctors, and staff. As well as many thanks to the SPFD, EMS, and ECC communities for their support.
A public visitation will be held Monday, December 4, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bradshaw (1078 Rice Street, St. Paul)
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Jerome (380 Roselawn Avenue E, St. Paul) with visitation an hour prior.
Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
