Ann Selleck

Ann Teresa Selleck, age 78 of Stillwater, MN passed away peacefully October 23, 2022, following a brief hospitalization after suffering a severe stroke.  She was born September 20, 1944, in Stillwater, MN to Milford and Luella Brunner. Ann studied at St Mary’s School of Nursing and graduated as an RN in 1965. She married her high school sweetheart, John Franklin Selleck, on November 27, 1965. She fondly talked often of her Navy wife life in Hawaii, California and Connecticut, before settling back in her hometown to raise her family.

She worked as a nurse at Lakeview Hospital and Greeley Nursing Care Center, retiring in 1992.  Ann supported her children in various ways including being a Sunday School Teacher, Boy Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader, and cheerleader for their many sports. Her hobbies and activities over the years included transcribing textbooks into Braille, bowling on the Morning Coffee League at Stillwater Bowl, playing cards with her best friends, reading many books, and traveling literally all over the US with John and the kids.  In her later life, she and John became Winter Texans on South Padre Island.  Watching ships and dolphins, collecting shells and entertaining friends and family who visited them on the island were some of the joys of her life.

She thoroughly enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Family gatherings meant the world to her.

Preceded in death by parents, Milford and Luella Brunner; and granddaughter, Kaylie.  She will be sadly missed by husband, John; children, John (Rebecca), Teresa “Tia” (Mark) Pederson, Chris (Tawn), Matt (Emily), and Angela Baier; grandchildren, Elissa, Tyler (Katie), and Nick, Caitlin, Megan, and Abigail, Devon (Stacy), Danae, Taylor (Keira), Cody, and Brady, Joey and Carter, and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Stella, Hayden, Brantley, Reagan and Charlie;  brother, Gerald (Cosette) Brunner; sister-in-law, Mary (Bill) Morrisette; many other family and friends.

A celebration of Ann’s life will be Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.  Visitation one hour prior to the service.
