Manger, Anna G. (nee Gjesdahl). Born in Minneapolis on February 6, 1901. Passed away January 31, 2005. Preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Manger; parents, Sven and Marie Gjesdahl; sister, Margaret (Dean) Goodrich; brother, Maurice (Jeanette) Gjesdahl and Paul (Katherine) Gjesdahl. Survived by her loving family: two daughters and sons-in-law, Margery & Sheldon Torgerson and Betty & Del Anderson; grandchildren, Shelby & David Soeder, Jon & Sara Torgerson, Bob & Jenny Torgerson, Heidi & Mike Erickson, Linda & Jeff Ramsdell, Tim & Julie Anderson, Maelene & David Krig, Dan & Laura Anderson; great-grandchildren, Amy & Drew, Emily, Xander, Elizabeth, Emily, Aaron, Claire Marie & Will, Andrew, Matthew, Rachel, Kirsten, Joshua, Linnea, Zach, Danielle Ann; and great-great-grandchild, Mariah. Graduate of South High School and University of Minnesota, Short term math teacher at Augsburg College and Minnehaha Academy. Faithful and active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church (Mpls), Bethlehem Lutheran (Brainerd), Trinity Lutheran Congregation (Mpls) and Holy Trinity (Mpls). Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery. A memorial service to celebrate Anna's life will be held at HOLY TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2730 East 31st Street, Minneapolis, at 11 AM on Saturday, February 26, 2005. Memorials to World Hunger or donor's choice.
