"God saw her getting tired, a cure not meant to be, so He put His arms around her, and whispered... "Come with Me." Author Unknown. Born March 28, 1922 to Nelmer P. and Gertrude M. Glain in Fertile, Minnesota. After growing up in Fertile, she married her husband Dale, ultimately moving with Dale to Owatonna and then to St. Paul. Ardy proudly lived independently in her home of 56+ years until just shortly before her death. Dale predeceased her as did her sister, Phyllis Heng Rohrer. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Boehm, Leah Clark and Susan Pihlstrom, sons Gary and Scott, her brothers Gordon and Donald Glain and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed life and was concerned that those around her, especially her children, "not take life too seriously and have fun." Memorial service to be held Saturday March 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service at BRADSHAW, 678 South Snelling at Eleanor, St. Paul, MN 55116.
