Arnold E. Evans
Age 85 of Minneapolis, passed away on May 5, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Esther; son, Tim; sister, Nancy Dixon. Survived by wife, Lillian; children, Diane Ahlf, Mona (Dan) Martinez; grandsons, Jim, Keith (Susie), Andy, Ben; great-grandson, Calvin; sister-in-law, Hilda Wiskow; brother-in-law, Jerry Dixon; nephews, friends. Arnie spent his 54-year career with the Star Tribune, beginning as a paper carrier. He was a member of the Minneapolis Typographical Union, and was a proud Navy veteran. Arnie loved fishing and spending time with family, especially summer vacations in Akeley, MN. He will be dearly missed. Memorial service will be 7PM Thursday at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave S, with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment at Fort Snelling.
