Arthur Eggar

Age 76 of St. Paul, Passed away peacefully Feb. 3, 2004. Grew up in St. Paul where he attended Murray High School. He received a B.A. from the U of M in German in 1951. He received his masters in education at Macalester in 1956. Served in the US Navy from 1945-46, Reserves at Navy Island in St. Paul 1951-52. Worked for Mounds View High School as an educator in English and German for over 20 Years. Bill was a perfectionist in all aspects of his life. He loved teaching and his students. His personal life was filled with many great friends and family. Bill was a talented pianist with music as a central passion in his life, followed by a deep love of the outdoors. He especially loved gardening. Preceded in death by parents Arthur and Julie; and beloved sister, Mary Lou Morehouse. Survived by brother, Matthew of San Diego, CA; niece April Morgan; nephew, Mark Eggar, great-nephew, Matthew Morgan and his wife, Dawn and his children Noah and Kyle all of CA; nephew James Morehouse; brother-in-law, Jack Morehouse both of St. Paul. Also survived by aunt Faye Meehan and many Meehan cousins, aunt, Mary Hoemke and several Hoemke and several Hoemke cousins and several descendants of the Keys family who are cousins to the Eggar family. Bill?s family welcomes his wonderful friends and life long students to the Memorial Service, Thursday, 7:00 pm at Bradshaw, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Hwy 96, White Bear. Visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Private interment Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Mounds View High School Scholarship Fund in the name of ?Herr Eggar?, 1900 Valentine Hills Road, Arden Hills, and MN. 55112. Memorial envelopes will be available at Bradshaw.
