Avery Evans, “Brave Ave,” is running and dancing, free from cancer, illness and hospitals. Our hero without a cape or superpowers, Avery lived bravely in her eleven remarkable years. She handled all her challenges with grace, giving comfort and sharing love and light for all who encountered her. Since she left us on July 10, this world is dimmer, but we are all better for having known her. She was merciful, selfless, compassionate, inspirational, and simply amazing. She leaves behind her loving family: parents, Matt and Jennifer; sister, Madelyn; grandparents, Tom and Donna Bolles; God warriors from Caring Bridge and St. Jude; and her honorary aunts and uncles. Avery was greeted in heaven with open arms by Jesus, and her grandparents, Tom and Linda Evans. A memorial celebration of Avery’s life will be 3pm on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Calvary Chapel Solid Rock, 258 North 3rd Street, New Richmond, WI. Celebration to be followed by a luncheon of Avery's favorite foods and a balloon release. Guests are asked to wear shades of blue, like the ocean Avery loved, and flower arrangements preferred in shades of blue. Memorials to family preferred.
