Passed away on July 8, 2018. Born to Harold and Marian Wolle on November 6, 1955 in Madelia, MN. She was an alumna of Gustavus Adolphus College and William Mitchell School of Law, class of 1982. After two years of corporate law practice in St. Paul, Barb became one of the pioneering women members of the Washington County Bar Association. She initially was a solo practitioner then continued her practice as a member, then partner of the Lawson Law Firm until her medical retirement in 2012. Preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Dave Rasmussen. Survived by husband, Elger Lorenzsonn M.D.; sisters, Susan (Steve) Shankland, Linda Rasmussen, Nancy (Tom M.D.) Balfanz; brother, Harold John (Jane) Wolle; eleven nieces and nephews; step-children, John (Summer) and Elizabeth (Dimitris Kelly) Lorenzsonn; five (and counting) grand nieces and nephews, and step-grandchildren. Barb was active in skiing and biking with the North Stars (NSSTC) Club and ran, skied, and skated a marathon in each discipline. She grew up in the wide open spaces of rural south-west Minnesota. The natural worlds of Yellowstone, the North Shore, the Four Corners Santa Fe region, Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand and Europe enriched her life. Barb enriched others by her honesty, friendliness and fortitude. She created beauty in her homes, gardens and crafts. Her family and friends will gather on her 20th wedding anniversary on July 22, 2018 from 1PM - 3PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater and on July 28, 2018 at her second home, 128 Isak Ridge in Lutsen MN for a Memorial Open House from 2PM - 4PM. Memorials preferred to the Nature Conservancy, American Heart Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Arthritis Foundation or MS Society of MN.
