Benjamin Beghyn

A Mass of Christian Burial for Benjamin D. Beghyn, 95, of Stillwater, formerly of Springfield, Ill. will be held Tuesday, March 31 at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Mary, 407 S. Fifth St. in Stillwater. Visitation will be one half hour prior to Mass at the church. Private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Mr. Beghyn died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Southview Acres Nursing Home. He was born in Chicago to Henry and Leontine Beghyn. He was a veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Blanche and sister, Ghislaine (Frank) Rombout. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Pamela (Dr. Joseph) Cella; granddaughter, Christa (Dan) Severson; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Sydney and Taylor.
