Beloved wife, mother, daughter
Dear friend, age 56, died at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN after a most courageous battle with cancer. She died surrounded by her husband, her three wonderful daughters, her wonderful mother and other family members. Bernie was born in Superior, WI on November 6, 1951 to Ted and Lucy Olaf. She attended St. Patrick?s School and church and graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1970. Bernie was a wonderful, positive influence on all that knew her. She brought a zest for living to all her activities-from garage sales in Wisconsin to skiing in Switzerland to hosting family gatherings. The joy she found in people and events was contagious. Her beliefs in the goodness of life and people was uplifting and inspiring to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her dear sister, JoAnn and father, Ted. Bernie is survived by husband, Richard; daughters, Sarah, Krista and Brianna. Also survived by mother, Lucy; brothers, David (Zee) and Jim; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James (Gwen) Larson and Gerry (Dianne) Larson; Bernie will also be greatly missed by 16 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many wonderful cousins. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday 11 a.m. at the CHURCH OF SAINT MICHAEL 611 South Third Street, Stillwater. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Superior, WI. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (N.W. Corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd. 5) Stillwater with additional visitation 1 hour prior to mass at the church.
