Age 69, died on April 18, 2018. Greeted in Heaven by her parents, Doug & Caroline Hall. Survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John; children, Anne (Reed) McRoberts, Rebecca, Benjamin (Michelle); grandchildren, Patrick, Brady; sisters, Barbara (Cary) Goulard, Beverly (Bruce) Bredbeck; many nieces, nephew, and dear friends. Born in Long Island, New York on November 9, 1948. Graduated from Mahtomedi High School, Mahtomedi, MN, Class of 1966. Earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from University of Minnesota, 1970. Married John on June 20, 1970. Their first home was a 1- bedroom apartment rental in Bad Windsheim, Germany. Subsequent moves with her husband and children led to establishing homes in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Thailand and at the time of her passing, New Richmond, Wisconsin.
Betty's life was centered around her beloved husband, family, and many friends - all who loved her dearly. She was a loving, loyal, attentive wife and mother. She was also a kind, tender-hearted, vibrant woman who brought joy into any room she entered. She served her Lord and husband faithfully throughout her journey in life, while standing on God's promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Her family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Westfields Hospital & Clinic in New Richmond, WI, Allina Health Vadnais Heights Clinic in Vadnais Heights, MN, and the Allina Health Hospice team for the exceptional care they gave Betty during her long battle with cancer. God worked through all of you to give us more time on earth with Betty. Funeral service will be at 10AM, Monday, May 7, 2018, at the BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN. Visitation will also be at the Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, from 4-8PM, Sunday, May 6, 2018, and one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday. Burial service will be on Monday, May 7,2018, 1:35 PM, at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials to the family are preferred.
