Beverly J. Frarck
Age 93, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson. Blessed be her memory.
Beverly Jean Frarck was born on June 4,1931, in Mason City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Harry and Frances (Short) Smith. Beverly was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Monroe High School Class of 1949.
Beverly had five children, Deborah, JoAnne, Susan, Nancy and James. Later Beverly was united in marriage to Stanley Frarck on March 15, 1975, adding step-children Ronald and Barbara. Beverly and Stanley resided in St. Paul, Minnesota. They shared 41 years of marriage prior to the passing of Stanley on May 29, 2016. After Beverly retired, she moved to Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Beverly was employed as a Switch Board Operator for St. Joseph Hospital in St. Paul. Her job was very important to her. One of her many job duties was every morning at 7am she would recite The Morning Prayer over the hospital intercom system for all the staff and patients at St. Joseph's Hospital. She took her job seriously, and was a soft calming voice when answering the phones. She retired in November of 2020 after 47 years.
Beverly was a professional bowler in her younger years. She also enjoyed selling her handmade crafts at different craft shows. She enjoyed going on cruises, trips to the zoo, trips to the casino, crocheting, and watching The Price is Right. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her children, Deborah (Terry) Hickel, JoAnne (Tony) Escobar, Susan Torgerson, Nancy (Jeff) Albers, James (Sandra) Brooks, Ronald Frarck, and Barbara Frarck; grandchildren, Kristine (Russell) Bush, Matthew (Jessica) Brovitch, Tammy Torgerson, Jason (Becky) Brovitch, Melina Escobar, Theresa Torgerson, Michael Lovelace, James (Samantha) Brooks Jr., Esther Escobar, Victor Escobar, Joshua Brooks, Ashley Brooks, Tim (Anna) Frarck, Melanie Escobar, Isaiah Perkins, and Caleb Hayes; as well as 23 Great-grandchildren; and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Frarck; infant son, Kenneth Novak; son-in-law, Richard Torgerson; granddaughter, Jennifer Miles; Grandson, Donshamear Fisher; parents, Harry and Frances Smith; and sisters, Janice Smith and LaRita Amacher.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 22 at 11:30 AM at Bradshaw (1078 Rice Street, Saint Paul) with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. To celebrate Beverly's love for cruising, guest are welcome and encouraged to wear cruise attire to the service.
Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery with her husband.
The family invites everyone to the luncheon at Bradshaw immediately following the committal service.
