Beverly Eloise Miller

Born in Iowa, Beverly and her family moved to Minnesota during her youth. She graduated from St. Paul Central High School and later worked for many years as manager of Ray?s North Star Truck Stop. Beverly lived in the St. Croix Valley for over 50 years and was a devoted member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. She will be best remembered for her glowing smile and infectious laughter. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Thea and Overton Nelson, her brother Latier Nelson, and a son. She is survived by children Michael (Mary), Susan (Dennis) Orpen, and Mitch, by grandchildren Maggie Miller, Casey (Kevin) Kurtt, Molly Miller, Jesse Miller, Jason Orpen, Shawn (December) Orpen, Melissa, Mitch, Adam, Lucas, Emily, and Joseph Miller, and great-grandchildren Carly, Courtney, Ryan, Tyler, Hunter, and Carter Orpen, and Micah Miller. Memorials are preferred to Christian Community Home or Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.
