Died unexpectedly on July 8. Preceded in death by father, Bill Scheel. Survived by wife, Mary; children, Shelly (Julian) Davila, Billy Scheel, Hannah Scheel; mother, Carol Scheel; sisters, Diane Scheel and Barb Carlson; nephew, Tashi; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bill will be remembered as a true renaissance man - a talented musician, song-writer, artist and poet who was most at home in nature as a mycological enthusiast. Bill had a passion for learning, and a keen interest in human consciousness. There was a depth to Bill that was complemented by a nuanced sensitivity and exquisite attention to detail that was expressed through his love and tenderness toward his family. Bill had a brilliant sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life. Funeral service will be 4PM Saturday at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation beginning at 2PM. Memorials to support continuing education for Bill's daughter Hannah preferred.
