Bobby “Blue” Christopher was born to the late James and Johnnie Mae Christopher on September 23, 1943 in Tucker, Arkansas. He later moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota in the early 70’s where he worked as a rubbish hauler for many, many decades which he later retired from. Bobby Christopher was a loving, caring friend, and brother. He was known as a father to everyone, and an awesome father he was. He has touched so many hearts. He had three things he loved the most; women, fishing and guitaring. Overall, family was everything to him.
He is proceeded in death by his parents James and Johnnie Mae, brother, James (Hugman), Robert Lee, Mack Charles and Raymond Christopher, sisters, Glenda Rose and Catherine Christopher, and granddaughter Shavondria Owens.
He leaves behind his wife, Gertrude Christopher, of 47 years, children, Donald, Elaine, Rhonda, Michelle, Niki, Steven, Bobby (Tanya) Bryant, Tawanda (Tim) Koski, Antoinette (Jeffrey) Odom, Artavis, Princess, Tyrell, Tyrenzo, Derayle, Destiny, 54 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Marie (Howard) Johnson of Chicago, Viola Christopher, Roxanne, and Amanda Hayes, Barbara, Maxine Christopher, Brother Eddie (Mary) Christopher, 2 aunties Alma Hicks, and Thelma, and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Lorraine Love and Edward Christopher for all of the support through this journey.
