Brian L. "Ted" Berntson

Age 77, of Vadnais Heights, passed away suddenly on August 2.

He was a Vietnam Veteran in the US Navy Seabees Unit #121, out of Gulfport, Mississippi. He was then a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years. He loved going to Canada to fish, enjoyed summers with Kathy at their cabin in Wisconsin and winter trips to Alabama. Brian was the neighborhood lawn guy. He had an amazing gift of gab and could tell stories better than anyone else. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Philman; and his brothers, Dale and Ozzie. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy of 43 years. Brian will be truly missed by the rest of his family, dear friends and wonderful neighbors. 

A celebration of Brian’s life will be Saturday, August 10, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. 

Memorials are preferred to Disabled American Veterans.
