Brian Louis Ebert was born on March 23rd 1962 in Le Mars, IA and passed away suddenly on May 4th, 2019 in Minneapolis, MN at the age of 57. Brian grew up living in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota where he developed a deep passion for the North woods, snowmobiles, hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. In Wisconsin he learned to fish and loved to fish for muskies. It was always his desire to return to there.
As an adult, he resided in Minneapolis and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. He also enjoyed his dogs, Bear and Beefcake.
Starting in his youth and continuing through his adult life, Brian struggled with mental illness. This often isolated Brian in his later years, but he never lost his desire to be with friends. He was a unique individual whose positive attributes such as his sense of humor, ability to talk to anyone, and his loyalty to his friends were often overshadowed by his mental illnesses (schizophrenia).
He is survived by his mother, Kari Lappe (Mark), sister Deanna Ebert (Lee), sister Debbie Ebert (Curtis), his nieces Nadia and Sophia Hinman, and nephew Elijah Avent. His father, Orlan Ebert, precedes him in death.
Brian, we wish you peace and you will always be loved.
Please remember to support those with mental illness.
