Passed away on January 10, 2018. Preceded in death by daughter, Laura. Survived by wife, Joyce; children, TJ, Chris and Julie; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. President of the St Paul bank for Cooperatives in 1974, then CEO of Farm Credit Services of St Paul, established Farm Credit System programs impacting benefits to farmers, ranchers and their cooperatives. In 1996 he was inducted in to the Cooperative Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C. His influence of services affected lives from his native Minnesota, across America and in countries of Eastern Europe. He lived in Poland privatizing 1200 cooperative banks and two USDA assignments for the Czech and Slovak Republics. He was a visionary, a builder, a leader and a tireless worker known for demanding more of himself than those around him, while yet inspiring others to achieve their best.
