Cameron Kuester

Cameron James Kuester, 

A bright soul whose light shone brilliantly in his brief time with us, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2025, at the tender age of 10. 

   Born on June 8, 2014, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Cameron bravely faced early struggles after being born prematurely, spending nearly his entire first year in the NICU. Despite these challenges, he emerged as a vibrant force of nature, embracing life with an enthusiasm that inspired all who knew him.

   Cameron is deeply missed by those who survive him: his parents, David and Kelly Kuester; his brothers, Derrick and Reed; and his grandparents, Scott and Julie Reed and David Kuester Sr. He is also fondly remembered by his great-grandparents, Paul and Norma Johannsen; aunts and uncles, Stacy (Joe) Junkers, Lisa (Jeff) Polencheck, and Christine (Mark) Shaw; and beloved cousins, Iyla, Renee, Alicia, and Hunter.

   Cameron's magnetic personality couldn't be ignored; he touched the hearts of everyone he met. His passion for knowledge manifested itself in his love for cars, sports, and nature, and he had an unwavering affection for bacon. An enthusiastic student, he proudly identified as Crestview Strong, relishing every moment spent in the classroom and with friends.

   His light is now shining in the stars, but he is preceded in death by his twin sister, Caroline; his aunt, Angela Mesich; grandmother, Pam Arndt; and great-grandparents, Ida and Bud Hawk, and Daniel and Valerie Reed.

A funeral service to celebrate Cameron's life will take place at 11:00am Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church, 6875 Jamaica Avenue South, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am.

   In this time of profound loss, we want everyone to remember Cameron not only for the struggles he overcame but for the incredible joy and love he brought into our lives. His star may have dimmed too soon, but his legacy will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
