Carl Lee Hoglund

Age 86 of Shoreview, MN

Carl passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 4, 2024 after a brief illness.

Carl was born in Alexandra, MN, the son of Carl W. Hoglund and Lillian (Lee) Hoglund. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1960. For 33 years he taught Math for St. Paul Public Schools, ran the Audio/Visual department and taught countless students how to drive.

Carl's side hustle was buying and selling movie memorabilia and records, and he traveled much of the US in this pursuit. He gained many friends throughout the US and has touched many lives in his travels.

Preceded in death by his parents, Carl is survived by his sons, Chris (Mary), Kevin (Dawn), Kyle (Angie) and 8 grandchildren.

Burial will be taken care of by Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria, MN, June 2025.
