Carol Anne Avila

Carol Anne Avila, age 73 of Minneapolis, died unexpectedly Saturday October 19, 2024 at her home.

She was born to Kenneth Swan Stromberg and Betty Jane (Supalo) Stromberg. She grew up in Minneapolis and worked her entire career in banking; ending her career at US Bank. In April of 1991 she married Eusebio Henry Avila and they built their life together in Minneapolis.

Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a woman of faith known for her kindness and nurturing spirit. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by husband of 33 years Eusebio; daughter Jaymee; step-daughters Elizabeth and Lisa (Delfino); grandchildren Michaela, Abigail, Ruby, and Pearlita; sisters Judie (Mike), Jann (Bob), Bev (Joe); and many other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents.

The service will be Friday October 25, 2024 at 11 AM at Bradshaw 3131 Minnehaha Avenue, Minneapolis with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Fort Snelling following the service with light lunch being served back at Bradshaw afterwards.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family.
