Carol Louise Lange

September 30th was a beautiful fall day when Carol was granted peace and was called home by the Lord.

A native of Stillwater, MN, Carol was the daughter of Marietta and Harold Lange and the youngest of six children. She attended school in Stillwater and graduated in 1967.

Carol loved her family more than anything. She especially enjoyed the extended family gatherings held throughout the year. She always looked forward to the sharing of meals, visiting, storytelling, and participating in games and other fun-filled activities during these gatherings.

Crafting was one of Carol's hobbies. Christmas crafts were her favorite with the collecting of ideas and materials starting long before the holiday. Her craft table was covered with many ornaments made for and shared with family and friends. Preparation for the gift-giving season always began early at Carol's house.

Carol had a soft spot in her heart for dogs in need of a loving home. Tippy, Candy, Trixie, Snooks, and Etta were never lacking in love and care.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother, her father, her two sisters, Barbara Jean and Darlene; and her nephew, Douglas. She is survived by siblings, Robert (Pat) Lange, Joan (Carl) Hohnstadt, Luella (David) Morse; and brother-in-law, Gerald Zolldan; as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-great nieces and a great-great nephew. She will also be missed by goddaughter, Rachel; special friend, Doris; and her care-giver, Sue.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Carol's life at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Salem Lutheran Church in Stillwater, MN, where Carol was a lifelong member. The service will be followed by refreshments in the Church Fellowship Hall.
