Carol Schlotterback

Carol C. Schlotterback passed away on Mother's Day, surrounded by her family.

Born in St. Paul on May 30, 1932, Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph & Ethel Hedstrom. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William; sons, Reverend Tom (Sarah) Schlotterback, Jim (Lisa) Schlotterback; grandchildren, Brooke, Mark (fiancAC.e Makenzie Hintt), Ryan, and Laura Schlotterback, Ryan (Carrie), Adam, and Jenna Phillips.

A stoic Swede, Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother, attending all of her grandkids' milestone events whenever she could. Though not a fan of cleaning fish, she loved catching and eating them, and enjoyed sharing the bounty of her garden. Carol loved her church and was a good neighbor with an unfailing positive outlook.

Funeral service will be 11AM Friday, May 19 at COMMUNITY OF GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4000 Linden St, White Bear Lake, with visitation 3-7PM Thursday at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, and one hour prior to service at church. Memorials may be directed to Community of Grace Lutheran Church.
