Carolyn Jo Anderson, daughter of Patrick and Irene (Gorecki) Kearney, was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. Carrie Jo graduated from Stillwater Area High School. She continued her education and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Waseca. She was united in marriage to Steven Anderson, on May 19, 1989. To this marriage two sons were born, Kelvin and Vincent.

Carrie enjoyed being surrounded by family, especially during her two favorite times of the year - the Washington County Fair, and Christmas. Carrie Jo loved every minute she spent on the Anderson family farm, helping the boys with their 4-H livestock projects. Some of the happiest memories captured in her journal last summer, were when she was enjoying the breeze at the farm watching the boys work with the show pigs. Carrie had a gift for organization and encouragement, always eager to help those around her.

Carrie earned her angel wings at her home on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at the age of 51.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Steve Anderson; two sons, Kelvin and Vincent, of Stillwater; parents, Patrick and Irene Kareney; three siblings, Denise (Dave) Swager of Stillwater, Kathleen (Steven) Herberg of St. Peter, and Christopher (Carrie) Kearney of Stillwater, and many nieces and nephews. Her grandparents, mother-in-law Helen Anderson, and nephew, Patrick Swager, preceded her in death.

The Anderson family would like to thank Carrie's many caregivers and Lakeview Hospice for helping her and our family through this journey.
