A funeral service for C. Shirley Register, 80, of Stillwater, will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2006, 11 AM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. Visitation will be held at BRADSHAW on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, 4-8 PM and also one hour prior to service. Internment at Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater.
Mrs. Register a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2006, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 4, 1926 and was a lifelong resident of Stillwater. She is preceded in death by husband, Dale; sisters, Helen Garavalia, Emily Radke, and Dorothy Hawkins. Survived by children, Scott (Deborah), Jackie (Dewey) Powell, Wendy (Gary) Hudson, Dawn (George) Gozelski, and Dan (January); grandchildren, Lisa, Steven, Joey, Beck, Bryan, Melissa, Nick, Chrissy, Nathan, Jessica, Colin, Samantha, Kenny, and Charlie; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Mackenzie, Brandon, Jordan, Ashley, Alana, Isabella, Jack, Cole, and Lily; sisters, Arlene Dixson, Francis (Lloyd) Portz, and Madeline Ihlan; brother, Charles ?Buddy? Ciesman; brother-in-law Jack (Eileen) Register; nieces, nephews and many special friends.
