Catherine Yeager

Catherine Jane Yeager (called Jane by her family), was born on May 29, 1928. She was the oldest of three children born to Vemont and Catherine Lemmie in Kirkwood, Missouri. She graduated from Sumner High School in St. Louis, MO and she later married Robert Lee Yeager who passed away in 1960.

She moved to Minneapolis, MN in 1952 where she worked as a nanny for a private family. In 1953, she began working for Honeywell in the Aero-Space Division and later advanced to become a trainer and supervisor. She retired from Honeywell after 35 years of service.

In 2008, she joined Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She served as Chair of the Care and Concern Ministry assisting church members and families who needed encouragement.

She passed away on January 19, 2018 and is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Susie Higginbotham and her brother James Lemmie. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Lemmie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 6:00PM at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 3355 4th Street North, Minneapolis MN 55412.
