Cathleen Choiniere

Age 90 of Stillwater.
Passed away November 23, 2013

Cathleen was born in Detroit, MI to Daniel and Martha (Krause) Macduff. She was raised in Pontiac, MI where she graduated High School. She went on to complete a Bachelor's of Science degree at Michigan State University where she met Robert Choiniere. They married on November 26, 1947. They raised six children and eventually settled in Stillwater. Cathleen worked as a teacher's aide at Oakland Junior High. She also volunteered through church and Lakeview Hospice, cutting over 17, 000 posterboard stars for the tree of remembrance. She enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ and listening to Daniel O'Donnell and Andre Rieu.

She is survived by her children, Bill (Barb), Andrea (Duane) Wolter, John (Becky), Jim (Kathy), Albert (Diane), Michael (Denise); brother, George Macduff, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded by her husband, Robert; grandson, Matthew Choiniere.

Visitation will be held Wed. Nov. 27, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at BRADSHAW CELBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd5), Stillwater; and one hour prior to Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Fri. Nov. 29, 2013 10:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. MICHAEL, 611 South Third Street, Stillwater. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorial preferred to Lakeview Hospice. 651-439-5511
