Died on June 24, 2010 at the Gables at Boutwell's Landing. He was born on September 6, 1928 in Taylor falls, MN. Preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Mae Berg.Survived by his wife of 58 years, Irene Lofgren Berg; son, John C. (Jeni) Berg; granddaughters, Jessica (Phil) Sampson, Jordan Berg; great grandson, Reef John Sampson; brother, Douglas (Aggie) Berg; sister-in-law, Elaine Frederickson; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Chuck's career was with Wells Fargo Bank and retirement with Autumn Grain and Transport. He enjoyed traveling, camping, down hill skiing, golf, yard work, reading, and the company of friends and family. Chuck served in the US Navy for 4 years during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, St. John's Masonic Lodge, Royal Arch, Stillwater Country Club, Stillwater Rotary Club. A Celebration of Chuck's Life will be held at 11AM with visitation one hour prior on Monday, June 28, 2010 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 North 4 ^th Street. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater, MN.
