Charles "Chuck" Blair, age 59 of Minneapolis, passed away in his home on December 3, 2024 from complications after surgery. He will be deeply missed by those who survive him: his partner of 18 years, Andrea St. Aubin; children, Devon (Jessica) Blair, Kaelyn Blair; mother, Carol Blair; siblings, Barbara (Michael) Sampson; nieces and nephews, Matthew (Molly Klein) Sampson, Brittany (Josh) Lunde, Amy (Noe Ramos) Sampson; great-niece and -nephews, Eli Klein, Parker Lunde, Victoria Ramos-Sampson; family, coworkers and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Blair; sister, Linda Blair.
Chuck was a gentle man who was quiet and kind. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He was said to be an eccentric fellow and was a good match for Andrea and her eccentricities. A connoisseur of restaurants and fast food, Chuck made a pastime out of going out to eat, even going as far as Kansas to dine at the closest Golden Corral buffet. He was a 1983 graduate of South High School, and then worked for Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Bloomington for over 20 years and enjoyed his job and coworkers immensely. Charles enjoyed travel, cookouts, tinkering in the garage with tools, welding and building things. He loved music, singing (and whistling!) and watching movies (especially Westerns) and visiting with a few close and lifelong friends. He especially enjoyed going shooting with his sons and four-wheeling with Andrea. He will be missed.
