BLOSSOM, CHARLES ALAN
Charles "Chuck" Blossom died unexpectedly at home, August 10th, 2017, in Woodbury, MN, at the age of 59.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Judy; parents: Robert and Jacqueline Blossom of St. Paul, MN; sons: Chad (Kristy) Kashmark of Savage, MN, grandchildren, Cody, Charlie, Grace & Sydney; Ryan (Amber) Kashmark of Bloomington, MN, grandchildren Emma & Owen; siblings, brothers: Bill (Teresa) Blossom of Circle Pines, MN; Robert (Doreen) Blossom of Eagan, MN; Brian (Sharon) Blossom of Dellwood, MN; sister: Barbara (Joe) Frits of St. Paul Park, MN; many nieces and nephews; loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by sister, Jeanne Seller of Hutchinson, MN.
Chuck was born on April 10th, 1958, in Seattle, WA. He graduated from St. Thomas Academy in 1976 and was the commander of the Honor Guard. He went on to graduate from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, in 1980 with a BA in Economics & Political Science. Chuck started his Financial Planning career right out of college, founding his long-time business, Prestige Wealth Management as President/CEO. He was a lay member of the Hennepin County Bar Associations legal fee arbitration committee and an investigator for the fourth Judicial District Ethics Committee.
Chuck married the love of his life, Judy, on May 4th, 1996. They built a beautiful home in Woodbury, MN, and spent their winters in Florida. In 2011, Chuck and Judy added their beloved dog Lucy to their family.
Chuck was an accomplished Stock and Super Stock Drag Racer. He holds countless National Records and has a room filled with Wally's and many other trophies that he has collected over the past 25 years. Chuck was a skilled hunter and shooter. He enjoyed a turn at the tables and cigars with friends.
Chuck lived life to the fullest every day and left no stone unturned. He touched every person in his life with his kindness, generosity, and his exceptional ability to care for others. All who met and knew Chuck will have a unique and funny story to tell. He loved to spend time with his family; watching his grandchildren play sports, swimming in the pool, barbecuing and lighting off fireworks on the 4th of July. Chuck and Judy spent time together enjoying friends, traveling the world, and spoiling Lucy.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 - 7PM Wednesday, Aug 16th, at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN, 55082. A service and Christian burial will be held Thursday August 17th, at 10:30AM, visitation one hour prior at GUARDIAN ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8260 4th St N, Oakdale, MN, 55128, with a luncheon to follow; Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Chuck's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warriors Project or Guardian Angels: Hope For The Journey Home Shelter. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and kindness.
