Cheryl Body Stovall

Cheryl I. Stovall was born May 4 1959 in Chicago,IL to the late James Johnson and Annie Johnson where they later moved to Minneapolis, Mn. On May 3rd, 2023 God called her home to get her beauty sleep.


Cheryl was a Strong loving mother who overcame a lot through out her life. She is a survivor from many thing and challenges that came her way. She never let anything get her spirit down. Cheryl was shy but when she got comfortable she was very down to earth. She love to start her day with her morinng cigarette and her morning coffee with her 50 million sugar packs.

Cheryl met her high school sweetheart, they started a beautiful family and traveled all over due to being an Army branch family. They settled down in Maryland but later Cheryl and her kids moved back to her home of Minneapolis, MN where she started her career as a cashier at Cub Foods. She loved her job and what she did. She also had the passion for nursing and completed some college for nursing. Cheryl had one special thing to look forward to and that was her kids and her new role of Grandmom. She loved having her kids and granddaughter together to  go to her favorite place MOA; Sealife and getting a big bag of Cotton candy.


Cheryl will truly be missed by all, her smile, her laugh, and that shyness would never be forgotten. She is proceeded in death by late husband, mother, and father and grandparents.


Cheryl leaves to cherish her memories of her 3 Sons: Andre (Sharmaine) Andrew Body, Alexander,1 daughter Cherrelle (Harold); 1 Brother 2 Sister; a hosts of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, loving cousins and friends. But most of all her one and only Granddaughter: Armonii’.
