Of Hudson, Wisconsin formerly of Afton, Minnesota
Died October 11, 2014 at age 92 years. He was surrounded with the prayers, love, and gratitude of his family: his wife of 68 years, Marcie; son, Steven (Nancy); daughter, Christine (Dean) Vaughn; and son, Robert; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Ruth and Chester Aronson, Sr.; sister, Lois White; and daughter, Victoria Ann Aronson who died at age 6 A½ years. Chet grew up in St. Paul's Midway District, graduated from Wilson High School, graduated from Midshipmen's School at Columbia University and from the University of Minnesota. He was a manager of the Travelers' Insurance Group Department, where he worked for 37 years. Chet's pleasures in life included getting together with family and friends, and being actively involved in the golf world and with his church. Service Friday, October 17, 12:00PM at MEMORIAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 15730 S. Afton Blvd, Afton, MN. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to the church.
