Chong Xiong

Chong D. Xiong, age 55, of Blaine, MN passed away Monday, November 29, 2021.  Chong is survived by his wife Pa, son Agur and daughter, Anastasia.  He will be missed by his 8 sisters; Kha (Saychu) Mua, Shoua (Boualong) Vang, Cha (Waker) Her, Me (Nhiachue) Vang, Tia (Kaying) Yang, Hua (Ge) Her, See Jessie & Bao Stephanie (Zack) and 3 brothers; Norping (Tu), Ying Eric (Tammy) and Yia Shawn (Tawn) along with all of his nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Bua Hue and Mai Lao (Heu) and his brother Nau-Es.  Chong was born in Ban Kang, Laung Prabang, Laos and settled in Columbus, OH in 1976.  His family moved to Des Moines, Iowa where he graduated from Des Moines Technical H.S. in 1985 before moving to Minnesota where he earned his Associate Degree from Century College (formerly Northeast Metro Technical College) in White Bear Lake, MN.  He worked at various places until settling down with Udell Dental Laboratory until his passing.

Chong was a quiet humbling individual and will be greatly missed by his families & friends!

Funeral Service Monday, December 27th from 9:00AM - 3:00PM at NEW LIFE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (965 Larpenteur Avenue W., St Paul). Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
