Loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. With elegance and grace she passed away March 9, 2015. Daughter of Jack and Virginia Bilek, she is survived by loving husband of 42 years, Jack; daughters, Dr. Jennifer Auge (Gerald) and Dr. Becky Brubaker (Jeremy); brother, Mike (Jan); Grandchildren, Hayes, Cooper, Jack, and Elsie; and many nieces and nephews and friends. She grew up in St. Paul and attended Presentation Grade School and Archbishop Murray High School then graduated from St. Cloud State College. She taught elementary school for many years at Presentation. In 2001, she took a new direction and became a business service specialist with the State of MN. In 2006, she was asked to serve on the Vadnais Heights Economic Development board and later served as President and Executive Director. She retired in 2012 but continued to lovingly serve the community through the VHED and the Lions club. She touched the lives of countless people and will be missed greatly by family, friends, and the community. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will be distributed to designated local community organizations. Visitation Wednesday, 4-8pm at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 4600 Greenhaven Dr @ Hwy 96, (1 mile west of Hwy 35E). Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 11am at ST. JOHNS OF LITTLE CANADA, 380 E Little Canada Road, Little Canada with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment at St. Johns Cemetery.
